You get business. Moving

We’re Lanarkshire Enterprise Services Ltd (LESL). A dynamic, successful private company that provides specialist business support to Scottish SMEs across Scotland.

We have established a reputation for excellence and are widely recognised for our innovative approach in supporting a diverse range of business sectors.

What drives us? We’re passionate about making a positive impact on economic growth. By helping businesses grow and thrive, money goes back into local economies: and lives and communities throughout Scotland, and beyond, flourish.

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for someone who gets business: and knows how to get established Scottish businesses moving to the next level. If this is you, you’ll be joining the team here at LESL where you’ll play a key role in identifying and resolving key issues for businesses across the central belt and beyond.

As Business Growth Consultant, you’ll be strengthening our Growth Advisory team. Reporting

The role is in the main client-facing. We’re a people company and building relationships with our clients is important to us. Face-to-face meetings help us forge those relationships but of course you’ll also provide advice on the telephone, on-line and email.

Using your experience and knowledge of the business landscape, you’ll identify key issues and provide effective solutions. You’ll be responsible for providing support and advice across a range of business issues, such as business planning and strategy, marketing, internationalisation and raising finance.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development of appropriate action plans, following the delivery of a strategic workshop with business owners.

In addition, you’ll be recommending third party organisations (public and private sector) and utilising support from other specialist strands available from partner agencies.

The type of person we’re looking for is like us: enthusiastic, dynamic, and passionate. A people person. Someone who is ideally a Business Development specialist with a broad range of business knowledge and sectoral awareness.
